Dear Reader,

The Anthology Project began as an idea. The idea was simple: collect and publish the unbelievably poignant writing by students who are fearless enough to create.

The challenge to create was first made in the fall of 2013 at McMath Middle School in Denton, Texas. Students were cheered on by their teachers, parents, and the staff. They took time out of their lives to reveal their own beliefs concerning our world. They wrote, and they created. Thirty-one individuals stepped up to the challenge, and in the spring of 2014, they banded together to construct the very first book we had published. FIN Press could not be prouder.

Now in the fall of 2014 we welcome McMath Middle School in Denton, Texas back to create again. Almost 100 students submitted art, poetry, short fiction/nonfiction, and photography to be published. Again, FIN Press could not be more impressed with the quality and depth of the work that the book contains. We thank you again for your incredible work.

The words these fearless authors have stitched together have incredible power. May you find an answer to a question, another question on which to ponder, or simply enjoy the art and words that follow.

Happy reading,

The FIN Press Family
